Usually, from the time we measure, handle detail paperwork it could take up to 10 business days for fabrication/ installation after we receive a deposit. They are very tight fit, like a winged butterfly. Some trim is grooved with ripple effects and again trim is to go outside the granite. We use 3/4,or 5/8 inch plywood on your kitchen countertops for 1 1/2 bullnose edge. Price will include full 1 1/2 inch bullnose edge (we can fabricate other edges,such as waterfall, double bullnose, ogee edge,etc.), granite materials, pickup, fabricating and installation.
Most medium size kitchens, about 55 to 80 square feet take 9 to 12 hours to install. Tear out old and redeck with the plywood is priced according to each kitchen and time, labor involved and is separate from materials, fabricate and install. We will measure and usually within 2 days give you estimate proposal with all the information you give us about edges, sinks, undermount or drop in (overmount, tear out and redeck). We prefer to deck so it is leveled for granite installation. In some cases we will make a template of your counter and this will be determined by the last measurement from the fabricating department when they come out. We can save you money with the wholesale price for your undermount sink, 40x60, 70x30, plus floor tile from vendor warehouses.
